Not what I expected, but cool nonetheless... Nov 16, 2007
By T. Lawson I don't know WHY I expected this to be more rubbery, like a Gumby figurine, but I did. Anyway, this served its purpose. I would suggest one be delicate with it. Just because it's made of metal, doesn't mean parts of it can't come off. I'm especially worried about the beer bottle and the antenna because they look like if you dropped the Bender figurine, those'd be the first to go.
Unrelated matter, the sticker on the bottle keeps coming off. Might need glue.
Recommended use: desk decorations... I take mine everywhere but that's because I feel like if I leave mine at the desk, it'll be swiped.
Love Bender Jun 25, 2011
By John A. Wetherby I love how it's made and perfectly detailed Bender, along with his beer and all. The only bad part I see about him his the sticker on the beer bottle keeps peeling off a little, but easily places back on. As long as you don't move him much, it sticks though. Perfect for the desk and a Futurama fan.
Bender is Cool Jan 02, 2009
By Alan B. Current I love my Bender. I put it on the mantle next to my Three Stooges statues. Great service, fair shipping charge!! Definitely buy again.

In The Proud Tradition Jul 27, 2010
By PHILIP S WOLF As they do exist in other parts of the world, I am here today to claim that robots are as American as it gets. From Buck Rodgers and Flash Gordon in those old serials in the 1930's to Klaatu onwards to Rosie from the sixties cartoon show: The Jetsons. And, we must not forget the robot from: "Lost In Space" that always had to rescue Will Robinson from all manner of trouble. Where would the good ol' USA be without our great robots?
Matt Groening created "Futurama" and like a tin Fonsie, one character has leapt beyond the others on this wonderful TV show, the one and only bad mannered robot named Bender.
This small figure is enclosed in a very cool retro box that exclaims: "100% METAL!" "100% 3-D!" "100% FUN!" These mighty claims would make this action figure the world's greatest object of amusement, and as that may be true (and you must believe, or else!) he is indeed, fun to have nearby. And as they forgot his cigars, you do not have to put up with any of those smells that would upset the cat.
Bender, may be a bad-boy, but he is part of the tradition that will continue long after you and I are dustballs under the sofa. Robots like Bender are part of what makes us great, we are Americans, and we want our robots! Four Stars!

Very nice with a touch of retro. May 20, 2008

This is a nice but not to heavy Bender figurine. It arrived in a very cool retro box that looked like a space toy from the 50's. Very futurama-ish. He seems very sturdy and looks perfect with my other Simpsons items. Check out Rocket USA for other Futurama items.
