My daughter received these for her second birthday. They are very soft and cuddly, and since the features are embroidered, there are no small plastic pieces that could break off. They're held together by a small piece of Velcro attached to Gerald's side; the Velcro slips through a small loop on Piggie's side. Easy to keep together, and easy to separate for play. A must-have for Willems fans, or for any kid who likes elephants and pigs!

my 6 year old daughter looooves the elephant and piggie books. oh a whim i thought i'd see if i could buy them as stuffed animals.... and i could. yay!!! thanks for having them available and thanks for shipping them to australia (yes it's pricey, but at least it's available). my daughter sleeps/plays with them quite often. she even reads piggie and elephant books to them, which is why with a smile on my face i put 5 stars for educational value. great products!!!

These stuffies are SO super soft! And we love having Gerald and Piggie to go along with the books. They are on the smaller side, but I think they're perfect!

I have two kids, a 5-year-old who's learning to read, and a 3-year-old. I got these dolls to entertain the 3-year-old while his brother reads the Elephant and Piggie books with my assistance (as that can take a little while). Both kids love the dolls, especially since they love the books so much. The 3-year-old keeps them on his bed. I recommend them to anyone whose kids are addicted to Elephant and Piggie the way mine are!
