Small, but cute Jan 10, 2007
By M. Sarrao My sons, ages 5 & 8, got these for X-mas. They love them. They'd be great lunch boxes, but my boys are using them as treasure chests! They're a little smaller than I expected.

OK BUT WON'T LAST LONG Sep 26, 2008

"desperately seeking Christmas"
I bought this for my 7 yr old great nephew as he likes pirates & wanted a special lunchbox for school. It isn't very big so it is difficult to include his usual lunch items. The handle is plastic. And as little boys love to do, if it gets banged around, it won't last long. But he likes it and thats all that matters. He will need another lunchbox before school ends next year and I think it is worth the expense to get a sturdier lunchbox.

cute but very cheap and flimsy! Nov 24, 2010

this lunchbox looks better on the website than in reality. Its alot smaller than I thought it would be, and it is VERY cheap and flimsy. There is no way this can last more than ONE semester of school - and that's with a kid being extra careful with it!! I thought there would at least be a strap inside to hold the drink bottle at the top of the lunchbox. There is no strap so needless to say my 5 y-o would have a hard time putting his containers and water bottle back in after he has finished eating. I dont think I will give him this for school, he'll just use it at home for a toy treasure chest. bummer!
Skull and Crossbones Lunchbox Collectible Dec 23, 2011
By DeadWaxx This lunchbox is a novelty item. It is great for a lunchbox collector, or someone that can't get enough of the skull and crossbones logo. I thought the treasure chest was a cute idea for this item or a jewelry box. I carry it as a purse when I have my black Chuck Taylor's on. It will not take the (normal wear and tear)on a day to day basis that a backpack or standard metal lunchbox would. It is a novelty item. The company that makes this also makes band-aids that look like strips of bacon, and cameras that squirt water. They are more conversation pieces. It's a lunchbox you would carry to work if you wanted to get the message across, "I'm going rogue". I thought the size was fair 6 1/2-inch tall x 8 3/4-inch wide.
works out great Oct 04, 2011

i'd been needing a lunchbox for too long, and this works just fine. the only complaint I have are the clasps: you'll need to take the extra few seconds to set the pins on the lid into their settings on the lower lid before you latch it. it's perfectly durable, and from a reverse view it looks like one of the old lunch boxes from the mid 1900s, which has fooled a few people I have to admit, lol ;
