1Get the full-size Roboquad  May 12, 2008
By Hae Yuon Kim "haeyuon"
My six-year-old wanted this after having played with a friend's full size Roboquad. He liked the small size of this mini version that we found at Target. The packaging was deceptive to say the least. You can turn it on and it moves forward on wheels, not on its legs. That's all it does. My son was bitterly disappointed to say the least. It's going back to the store tomorrow. I've ordered the full size robot with the remote control. They're available for $40.

2A Battery Operated Toy Not One of Wow Wee's Robots  Jan 13, 2008
By Sires "I like mysteries (particularly British ones, historical fiction and nonfiction, science fiction and fantasy."
Essentially this is a toy that takes two AAA size batteries. It's legs move and it's head moves from side to side but the means of propulsion is a wheel on the bottom of the black under carriage. It does not travel well on carpet, even industrial carpet.

A four year old might find it fun, the cat likes it, but I wouldn't have bought it for an older child.

1Doesn't have an "advanced sensor array"  Dec 16, 2008
By Roger P "Roger"
Right on the box, it says the Roboquad has an "advanced sensor array". Turns out this is pure deceit on WowWee's part. There isn't a single sensor. This dumb robot walks straight into walls and people, and immediately gets stuck.

What a terrible toy. I thought my son would love it and be entertained. He hates it, and so do I. WowWee -- don't ever try to trick me again.

This one is going back to the store.

4a fun little robot  May 04, 2008
By Pen Eman "kid icarus"
This fun little guy will keep the youngsters amused for hours. It does move quite well and has a unique look to it. It should interest them for a long while.

1Waste of money  Oct 03, 2009
By Cute Chihuahua
This toy is useless. It doesn't do anything other walk straight forward. It doesn't make sounds or have any sensors to tell it when to go in reverse or turn around. It was a complete waste of money. It kept my kids attention for about 30 seconds and that's it.
