A perfect set for any Thomas lover!! Dec 01, 2009
By cp_mistyrose My son is a Thomas lover, and he was thrilled to receive this set! Rheneas and Skarloey are 2 of his favorites, and 1 is only available in this pack (both were individuals, but one was discontinued). They are a great set together, as they are all "narrow gauge" (in the show only - the are standard wooden size for Thomas tracks). To complete the set, consider buying Duke, Peter Sam, and Sir Handel.
Thomas trains are wonderful. We own books, DVDs, and trains. I love when he watches a DVD, then tries to recreate the scene on his train table. Even without watching the show, he still enjoys playing Thomas at least half an hour a day. And since he usually invites me, his father, or his sister to play, it promotes quality family time on top of using his imagination.
While the trains are a bit pricey, they are a great deal for a 4 pack compared with buying them individually. Any Thomas fan will be happy to receive them.

What an amazing set. Popular trains in one pack (Rheneas, Duncan, Skarloey and Rusty.) Encourages imagination. Great gift for any Thomas the Train fan.
Thomas the Train - Mountain Engines Sep 07, 2010
By MommyDiva It is nice to get these engines all together, although some of the engines are duplicated in other packs. My son, however, does not care how many duplicates he gets :)
Good value for the money Jul 19, 2010
By Siamak Marzbani If your child likes Thomas the tank engine trains this is a great set. Especially if he has a liking towards the Narrow Gauge engines, this is even a better set, since all 4 engines are part of the Narrow Gauge set. But the best of all you can't beat the price. We have gone through buying a few Thomas engines for our 4 year old boy, and the indivdidual wooden engines this size usually go for about $10 to $12 retail. So getting 4 for less than the price of 3 is great.
