This is a pretty doll. The face and the hair and the wings are beautiful. I think I got a good deal for my money; however, the bodice of the doll is painted on. I thought it had regular take off/on clothes, but the bodice of the dress is actually painted on.

My daughter is very happy with her doll. She was excited over being able to play the game with the Elina doll. I did have a little trouble getting it programmed but once I reset it and made sure that I was holding the DVD remote control to the white light instead of the red light on her necklace, everything went smoothly. This concept of using the doll as the remote in the game is interesting and enticing to children, (well, to my daughter anyway). But the game itself is extremely lacking. There is no depth to it. All you do is turn your doll to the left or right to go to different places where you are given the stones for the crown in which the stones had been stolen from. There is no challenge, you simply go to these places and the stones are given to you. So there really is no "game". The doll itself is pretty and her wings will flutter with a push of a button. I've given this toy 4 stars just based on the doll. I would give the game only 1 star.

i am a senior computer programmer and just like the others could not program the remote for my daughter's birthday today. even tried 2 separate dvd players. she is very frustrated and upset.
this is the worst dvd/remote product ever. iw works with the dvd's regular remote but my daughter does not want to use that.

This was exactly the present that our granddaughter wanted for her 4th birthday. She seems to really enjoy it. We will see how long that it last.
