Nice Idea, Lame Execution Jan 02, 2011
By dustin I was excited to see Fisher Price reissuing toys from my childhood and longed to share simpler more durable toys with my daughter. I should have gotten an original used on an online auction like I did the FP record player. The piano is now made of plastic instead of wood, requires batteries unlike the original and is made in China instead of the US like the old toys. It feels flimsy and the sound is slightly digital. A few weeks after having it, it got stuck on Pop Goes the Weasel and has only played that since. If you hold down one key, no other keys will work until the one is released and it also makes my husband crazy that notes aren't timed properly for the song. I hope the plastic is recyclable because it's going in the recycling bin when I purchase the original thing.

Fun Piano, Good Sound Nov 29, 2010
By K. Nash Another classic toy is back! My daughter received this piano for her 2nd birthday. She really loves to play the piano and pretend. Its not too loud and easy to navigate. Very durable too. I only wish it played more songs (currently it only plays three).
Cutest toy ever!!! Feb 01, 2012

I absolutely love the vintage Fisher Price toys. They are great! I think this piano is a little smaller than the original but it is just as cute. My 17 month old daughter loves it. It has become her new favorite toy. She loves to push the keys all day long. It is small enough where she can pick it up and move it around which is great. It plays 3 songs and they aren't really annoying songs which is also a plus. When you change the song the picture on the top of the piano changes which my daughter really seems to like. No matter which keys you press the song continues to play so it doesn't sound like uncontrolled racket. This is a great toy and I would recommend it for anyone with a small child.
Get a "real" piano instead Jan 09, 2012

This is a cute-looking piano, but my daughter (now 17 months) has never been that interested in it since getting it for her first birthday. I am now thinking about getting her a "real" piano--that is, a toy piano that doesn't just play preprogrammed songs, but whose keys are true to actual notes. I don't remember this from when I was little and am surprised it was popular enough to have been brought back. Oh, and like at least one other person, our piano got stuck on only one of the songs as well, but no one here really cares...
Not good! Oct 30, 2011
By J. McCarthy Stickers on crooked and they peel off easily. Can't really stick them back on to last. They are also ripped. This is really cheaply made. I am sorry to have received this as a gift or for sure would return it.
