It's really cute and makes just enough light to change a diaper without fully waking anyone.
Wish Amazon carried all of the others in the set.

I was excited to receive this light and knew exactly where it was to go.
However, when I received it, set it up, and turned it on--there was no light. After some fiddling with the light socket and bulb, I got it to light--for about five seconds. Because my low-energy bulbs would not fit into the small frame inside the Buddha, I didn't have a way of testing out whether the problem was the original bulb or the contact. Disappointing. I also very much wanted to use low-energy bulbs, but I have yet to find a manufacturer that makes their glass (as opposed to the socket) small enough to fit inside the Buddha's frame.
Second, it arrived full of dust. I cleaned it, and then shined a flashlight into it. What I realized is that the plastic is very poor quality--some parts are thinner/thicker than others, so you get a blotchy sort of glow effect. For example, there was a think area about the size of a dime on my Buddha's forehead. It looked like he had a skin disease. There were also rough areas that had black outlines when lit from within.
Overall, much lower quality than I expected. A cheap, plastic mold and a poor quality electrical setup. Also you should know that the on/off switch is mid-way down the cord, so if you have it on a table, the switch is near the ground! Thoughtless design. I returned my a day later.

The Buddha Buddha lamps come in a few different shapes but I dislike the others. This one is calm and peaceful. Some of the others are distractingly strange or goofy.
I'm not sure why this is listed in the toy section. This is certainly not a toy. It's a very good quality accent lamp. It has a nice, basic inline switch. I think the color is perfect but you can probably change the bulb color easily if you wanted. With its bright yet soft glow, it creates a fantastic, calming atmosphere. This is a special lamp. I'm very happy with it. Just looking at it has a soothing effect.

I have the Harmony and Love lamps and I use them on a daily basis. The soft light of this lamp is great to illuminate my pre-dawn yoga practice. It provides just the right amount of light and starts my day off in the right way.

I already own this lamp which is why I am attempting to purchase one for a gift
I am STILL awaiting arrival of the product promised at latest over a week ago. I will NOT be using this vendor again.
