Bought this toy because my wife and I love watching the cooking shows on channels like the Food Network and Bravo. The toy is hilarious. Mario has his pan of spaghetti and meatballs which he flips 100% of the time (at least my toy did). He also shakes a bottle (wine? olive oil?)in the other hand. Mario is even wearing his signature orange Crocs!!!

This is a very fun gift for any chef. I got it for a friend of mine who loves cooking and cooking shows. I was impressed with how accurate the flipping motion is. Very cool toy and I love the tin wind-up design.

I bought this as a gift for my husband as we both love Mario. The toy is very cute, but it does not do what it is supposed to do. In order for the food to flip in the pan, we have to push down on his arm to trigger the flip after winding it up. Not worth returning due to return shipping charges. It's cute if you just want to display it though.

This item is more for FOODIES, fans of COOKING SHOWS and MARIO BATALI fans. I would not purchase this item for a child, not unless that child loves to help in the kitchen. I love cooking and the FOOD PROGRAMS so I adore this item.

Wind it up, and he "tosses" the pasta in the pan while shaking the oil in the other hand. Very well done (no pun intended). A lot of fun, for your favorite cook.
