Love the Sock Monkey! Aug 19, 2010 The sock monkey was in a movie we watched resently in our house, so of course it was the "I REALLY need it toy". If stuffed animals are the thing in your house it will be very popular.
My love for sock monkey Aug 12, 2010 I do think that this monkey was a good value for my money and I really enjoy him. I think that he is a very cute and adroable addtion to my family. It was m dads birthday and he always liked the commerical for the kia sorento where they ahd the sock money and all the other stuffed nimals doing things such as riding a bull or evne getting a tatot after he sen that he was hooked so I decied to get it for him for his birthday. As soon as I showed it to him he was tcickled and loved him ever since. thanks amazon for selling him.
Sock Monkey Up Front Aug 08, 2010 If you drive a new Kia Sorrento YOU HAVE TO HAVE a Sock Monkey for a co-pilot. Strap him into the front passenger seat and you'll never need to talk on a damn cell phone again because you can talk to the monkey . I had one of these 50 years ago as a kid . We bought our 30 year old daughter one when she was a kid . Now the Kia has one . EVERYBODY who sees it laughs right out loud .
My Toddler's Best Friend Jul 29, 2010 Okay - so it is NOT the original Sock Monkey that some people remember, but it IS a sock monkey. Well made, holds up to being the best friend of a two-year old very well. He holds his color nicely through many washes. The stitching - despite the washing, night time cuddles, and playing at the park with my son, has shown no signs of wear at all. He buckles quite nicely in the car next to the car seat too lol!! He is soft all over, and the long arms make it easy for my son to drag him everywhere. We calls ours "Rupert" and he has become a very important part of my sons days and nights. He even went for his own hair cut, and sat in the chair next to my son! As far as the lack of moving parts, flashing lights, and actions sounds - no problem there. The simple design makes for important imaginative play skills, and lends itself to be whatever my sons wants this toy to be. There are no limitations to what Rupert can do and be for my son.
A Childhood memory Jun 25, 2010 My children remember one at their Grand dads house. I don"t know where it came from because my husbands Mother had pass away many years ago. The youngest Grand Child got it when he died. My children love them. My twin Grand Daughters age 8. We are making some but we bought the ready made one to go by. I wish I had bought all already made. One for each twin, one for GGrand who is 2 and a GGrand the is 1. This little fellow makes memories.
