Poorly constructed! Feb 16, 2009
By M. Rimbeck This robot is a poorly constructed collectable. It is not a toy and not entended for play. I was very disappointed in this product. It was flimsy and some of the parts were bearly together. This is a product that was intended to sit on a shelf and not be touched not a durable remake of the tin robots of the past.

Disappointing! Apr 09, 2011
By Geri This is not a toy intended for small children. It's definitely not durable and even after winding it up it barely moves. Fine if going on a shelf other wise I wouldn't recommend it. Super disappointed!
Metal robot! Dec 29, 2011
By K. Taylor I bought this for my girlfriend who loves to collect metal toy robots and she loved it. It's simply a collector kind of thing, but we played with it for a bit and it's pretty cool. Walks and sparks, and the retro packaging was way cool.

"toy robot maker"
Strictly speaking this is a collector piece, it belongs with other robots that are collectibles.
While it does have functions it still is more of a show piece and should only be bought as such.
The price is perfect for a re-make of the famous one and should be noted as well.
I do recommend it as a collector's piece and not for children as it does have metal edges and could be somewhat harmful for younger children to play with.
Otherwise an enjoyable collector's Robot worthy to be among other robots that are collected.
