Love this game. My family and I spend hours playing it on a regular basis. It really challenges your mind and vocabulary.

We have family game nights and have for years. My kids are teens now and they still look forward to game nights as quality family time.
This game is so good. For younger kids, it's challenging, improves vocabulary and spelling skills as well as some basic math, addition and multiplication.
With teens or adults, it's a fun way to spend an evening. Trying to come up with the best word you can. We just play the scoring variation where you add up your score and play 10 hands. I think we may play with chips sometime soon, betting on each hand.
A lot more variation and possible hands than poker. Because of the triple and double word score cards, there is a lot more of luck element than the Scrabble board game. You could have a great 6 letter word and be beaten by a 3 letter word that had the right combination of multipliers.
Very fast paced, a 10 hand game goes a lot faster than playing the board game. This game and a game of UNO make for a nice evening.

Scrabble endures for a good reason, anyone can play it if they can spell. My son beat me over and over and I play Scrabble online daily! Being dealt the letters with which to make your words, it's just as challenging as picking out tiles. With no board it makes for quick game turnover.

My friend an i play Texas Hold'Em with these decks all the time. You can take out the TWS and DWS if you want and customize the deck to your choice of options. This is a lot more fun than people would expect. You can play Omaha, Stud, Razz(who can come up with the lowest 5 letter word), and a variety of other poker games. It's more fun if you play it with chips just like regular poker games. There is the same drama and suckouts when you get allin on certain boards and it comes Q turn Z river and he makes a small but big point word to beat you.
This deck is money well spent.

Purchased this as gift for my grandson - he loves card games and is now having fun playing with family members. I had not seen this game anywhere but Amazon and glad that I found it there and at such a good price.
