Very Neat, but does not last Jul 07, 2008
By J. Seidel I purchased two of these, one for myself and one for my parents. They are very neat and work great for about 6 to 12 months. The one I use does not always light up anymore and the one my parents have stopped working altogether. After taking them apart I noticed a condsiderable amount of rust on the contacts inside. I scraped some of the rust off and got 1 of the 2 back in perfect working order. The other one no longer will light up red in hot water, only stays blue. With how it's rusting I'm sure they will stop working again soon. It's not too expensive and I could buy new ones...just be aware that these are not built to last like the faucet you are screwing it onto. They are good for a year or less as a neat toy and a conversation piece at parties. Luckily the light does not affect the water flow at all and it is still small and not an eyesore on the faucet.

Interesting Twist on Lighting May 02, 2007
By Jeff Martis

it's a pretty neat little kitchen add on, but the only thing i want to point out is that it does change the actual pressure of your water flow. we used to have a connection that 'gushed' the water out and now with this attachment, it's more of a 'flow.'
not a biggie though, you can always add a finer 'mesh' attachment and get it back to how it was ;)
great for kids who aren't careful enough about putting their hands in water!

Fun and Information Nov 30, 2008
By Michael Long

We installed this in our guest 1/2 bath downstairs. It's fun to hear the astonishment of guests behind closed doors as the sink lights up with blue and red lit water. What's even more interesting is when the guest says nothing. If they're young enough we tell them to go back and wash their hands, if older, we just don't offer to shake their hands.

regretfully Dissapointed Sep 08, 2007

our purchse was prompted by a fun and novel toy. however, each set of batteries had quite a short life and were easily rusted. the strength of the lite, before battery loss, was dependent on the water pressure. what began as an entertaining novelty, soon became another item on the waste of money list.
