We bought our first Kindle this year and my wife immediately downloaded a copy of The Velveteen Rabbit. It was a story that she read when she was a child and it was one of her favorites. I happened to see the Velveteen Rabbit soft toy on Amazon and bought it without a second thought. On the day it arrived I said, "Look what I got you." and presented it to her. The recognition was immediate. She burst into tears. She cried, all out bawling, for nearly an hour. Gifts that good are few and far between.

my two year old loves it and takes it with her everywhere. it sits up on her baby chair perfectly so she can play tea time with it. the ears have satin which she rubs on her face. adorable.

My 6 year old loves this rabbit. She started with the Velveteen Rabbit book, moved on to the movie, and now loves this rabbit to pieces! It's very soft and durable, and very cute!
