We bought this as a gift for our granddaughter and we were not disappointed. It was exactly as described and it is a treasured toy.

My 1-year old grandson loved his plush catervillar. I chose the Very Hungry Caterpillar theme for his birthday & Christmas this year. I found so many Very Hungry Caterpillar items on Amazon.com that I could not find in stores. Even found material in a quilt shop to make a baby blanket & a pillowcase for him. He hugs his little caterpillar. This is colorful and a great little toy.

I purchased this caterpillar to replace a teddy bear that my 2 year old had from birth. She was very rough on Teddy, soothing herself by biting its face, eyes and nose. As a result, Teddy didn't last even the full 2 years. We're having a Very Hungry Caterpillar themed birthday party for her this year, and so I thought this might work for a replacement lovey.
The second I put it into her little hands, it was up to her face getting kisses. Then she was making it "eat" everything in sight. She LOVES the new friend, and has not asked for Teddy back. I love how soft it is, and there are no parts that could come off that would pose a choking hazard. It seems very durable and is holding up well against biting, pulling, dragging, and especially hugging!

My 2-year-old daughter loves The Very Hungry Caterpillar, so my wife and I looked for a decent plush toy to give her. She was delighted with this toy, which closely resembles the illustration in Mr. Carle's book. Best of all, it's made in Indonesia, not China (if you pay attention to such things), which to me is worth the somewhat higher price. Personally, I would've preferred that the plush not be permanently facing to the right, but the toy is for my kid, not me!

"Movie Buff"
This is a cute plush toy, my son is 9 month old, and loves the colors. He will pick up the toy and carry it around with him. It was a good purchase.
