Talking Railway Edward Feb 12, 2010
By WANDA M MASON Our little 3-year old grandson loves this toy. He watches the Thomas series all the time and has been learning all the names of the different trains. It is very durable and well made and educational as well. Very nice toy.
Kind Little Edward Jan 16, 2012
By M. Davidson Love this train.
Fun: YES, hours of.
Educational: Sure! Lately, my 2 year old categorizes his trains based on the most minute details. i.e. he gathers all of the ones with "red lines" on top, or "2 wheels" or "square windows." Track building is great puzzle solving. Let's not forget the important sharing lessons that we get to practice whenever friends want to enjoy this popular toy with us.
Durable: Wood toys do well.
Overall.... Our train set is the #1 played with "toy," and Edward is a lovely addition.
We have a "talking railway" set, so Sir Topham Hatt can greet this version of Edward when he passes by. He does NOT talk on his own by pushing a button like the "talking" trains.
Love Edward! Jul 17, 2011
By Mommy of Four Got this for my 3 year old son! Great value. He does not have the interative talking system just the wooden railway but it still works great. The only visiable difference is the buffers are brass.

By b26 Received this train and was disappointed that it is not a talking train, only part of the "talking railway series"
