If your toddler is as crazy about Thomas the Tank Engine as my grandson is, this is a pretty great little accessory. As train goes by the station, a very grandfatherly voice reads a chip in the engine and greets whichever one it is (there are several in the toy group) by name with a little message for them. Kids love it and love that they can predict the message after awhile. My just turned two-year old grandson was delighted.

My children (4 and 2) absolutely love this toy. My daughter (4) has figured out which trains will be called by name and my son (2) loves playing with the stop signal and having Sir Topham Hat come out to say hello as well as what he calls the "tunnel" to travel through. We have only had it for a month but they have been loving it and use it most out of all the birthday and Thomas presents!
So far it is pretty durable considering it's daily abuse!

Our grandson, who happens to be autistic, is thrilled to receive any "Thomas the Train" item as a gift. Needless to say, this one was just as big a hit as others he has been given. All "Thomas the Train" products are well made and hold up well in spite of years of play.

CAN'T BEAT THOMAS AND FRIENDS WOODEN RAILWAY FOR IMAGINARY PLAY, MY GRANDSON CREATS HIS OWN VERSIONS OF THE POPULAR SHOW, IMPRESSED WITH HOW WELL MADE THIS CROSSWAY IS, GREAT INTERACTION, MOVING PARTS WORK WELL, BUT BE AWARE ONLY WORKS WITH TALKING RAILWAY CARS FOR TALKING FUNCTION, MY GRANDSON HAS BOTH SO HE USES IT A LOT.
