 Great toy for a 3 yearold Dec 24, 2009

I bought this for my Son who is 3 years old. He has always wanted a RC car and this seemed like a durable inexpensive option for him. I like the fact that is easy to steer and that it has light on the front that show if it is on or off.
This car is steered by the right and left wheels. One thing with these types of cars is that they should be able to do a complete 360 but with regular batteries this car us unable to do 360s on most surfaces. Be prepared to buy a 9.6v battery pack so that you don't have to waste so much money on AA batteries. Also with a good battery pack the car is supposed to be 30% faster. Don't buy the Tyco battery pack there are plenty of other option here on Amazon for much less money.

I Must say that I am impressed with how durable this Tyco RC Stunt car is. My son's two favorite activities with his car is driving them off the dining room table and driving them down the stairs!! It has held up prefectly and just keeps going and going as long as we put batteries in it. A note on the batteries while we were at my in-laws over Christmas we put in some really good Energizer batteries. WOW what a difference they made over the super cheap batteries I buy from Menards. It would do 360s and was much faster then we had expierenced in the past.

This car is still holding up great. It is the end of March here in WI so we are finally starting to get outside more. I am sure he will be driving this around outside for most of the summer.n The 9.6V Rechargeable Battery Pack and Chargerlisted here on Amazon are a great addition to this car and have saved me so much money on batteries. They also make the car a lot faster then regular AA batteries.

Now that we are outside with this thing it is really amazing how much time you can get on 1 battery pack! We consistantly get over 45 min of run time. We are going to buy our 2 year old this same car but in red. This thing just keeps going and going and never stops until the battery is dead.

Fun for Family Camping Trip Nov 16, 2009

We took the Stunt Psycho on a camping trip with us this weekend, and it was a great hit. It went over rocks and sticks, did tricks on the pavement beautifully. The AA batteries started running low a few hours into playing, still went but with less power. The only disappointment so far is that the door that covers the batteries underneath fell off a few times when going over bumpy terrain, so we are thinking of using tape to hold it in place.

Boys received last year for christmas 2009 and they are still playing with them Nov 2010. They are durable, work well inside on any floor and outside too. Holding up well for my kids. Would highly recommend! 1st remote control vehicle that does what it says and doesn't break in a month. We have two and they are both still going strong and in one piece.

This year for Christmas, we wanted our 4 year old to have an RC car that would stand up to abuse and was easy to use. After about 20 munutes with the controls, he got the hang of it. The car seems durable and although it's prone to scratches from the concrete, it can handle a lot of abuse.
The wheels make it perfect to run through grass, dirt, and on the street. When you get good with the controls, doing 360 spins on its back wheels is a ton of fun.
The best part is that even when you flip the car, usually you can get it turned back over just using the remote without having to run over to it and pick it up.
I highly recommend buying a 9.6V Rechargeable battery for it. It lasted a long time and seems to give it much more power! (Like other reviews, the battery cover for the remote is very loose, just use a piece of tape and you'll be fine.)

My daughters bought this for me for Christmas because I wanted a remote control car to mess around with. This was the car they picked out for me. It is really an amazing car. It is practically unstoppable. It drives over pillows, shoes, pretty much anything it comes across (within reason). I would suggest buying a battery pack for this as opposed to the AA battery route. A previous reviewer stated that they had problems with the battery compartment opening and I have not had this occur. I have put it through some serious rough driving and it has not happened once. I have a feeling that without the battery pack maybe the fit is different and that might be where the problem lies. I have not tested hundreds of cars so I can not say that this is better or worse than others on the market. What I can say is that this car is just really a lot of fun and the durability that it has displayed really makes this a car I can give my highest recommendation to.
