Brand new F-toys Star Trek Fleet Collection Vol.1 U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D 1/5000 Scaled Miniature Display Model imported from Japan. This miniature plastic model is fully painted with excellent details. Please note that this miniature U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D model requires some simple assembly and it contains small parts which are not suitable for small children (choking hazard!). Also, this item will be shipped in its original blister packing and its original box (the box has been cut opened at the bottom to verify content) with its corresponding instruction sheet. Gum/candy will not be included.

Excellent Model Mar 29, 2011

This model looks great sitting on this Trekkie's desk. It is fairly detailed and as far as I can tell it is accurate to the model used in the TV series. The red and blue portions of the nacelles are made of a semi-transparent plastic, so if the light hits them just right they almost light up like in the show. There is some assembly required, the saucer, the secondary hull, and the nacelles must all be connected. I recommend using thin beads of plastic cement as the components don't really hold together on their own. My only complaint is that the ship is hard to balance on the stand and very easy to knock over. Overall great model though.
