Don't overwind Aug 08, 2008
By Gary B. Katz I got the impression the windup mechanism would break if stressed at all. Consequently I only wound it enough to walk for about six or seven seconds. To be fair, it's not marketed as a toy, but as a collectable. It is cute, if you like robots (I certainly do). Gary Katz

By Bananaman After you wind it up, it moves... a little. It doesn't work very well. But I'm guessing people won't buy this with the intent of marching it around the block. If you plan to let it sit on a shelf, it's great.

Not a good robot Jul 06, 2010
By kimnappi I bought this toy for son since he loves tin and wind up robots which are hard to find. This one is cute and small so he can lug it around but the seperate key does not work at all on this robot so we couldn't make him walk and though his arms can be moved, I snapped them off trying to move then in a different position right off the bat. My son was hysterial so we had to super glue them on (so much for being able to return the toy). I read collectible toy on the box after I bought the toy, my son is gentle with his toys, but I expected a sturdier, working toy for $9.99 plus shipping. I am very, very disappointed. Do not buy!

By Candice La Mar Got it for my husband to set up in the house and he loves it. I would not reccomend it for a child because it will not hold out against place..it is JUST for looks :)
stomping good time Sep 11, 2010
By camaikman OK, I KNOW this is not a *toy* but I did get it for my boy. After a couple of weeks the arms were removed (but hey, my guy is almost three so I figured two weeks was pretty good!) Overall though, this little guy is well made - very heavy for the size and even w/out arms, he moves just fine.
